The Town of Gilbert does require alarm permits.  There is a one time $10 application fee for the permit for both residential and commercial properties.  To obtain a permit, you may contact me or visit the web at: http://www.ci.gilbert.az.us/eservices/police/default.cfm  

Some alarm companies may supply their customers with an alarm permit application at the time of installation.  However, if the system is already in place at the time of annexation, please contact the Alarm Unit at (480) 635-7459 to obtain an application.
